Hey, loves.
If you’ve been here before and noticed that all the old blog posts disappeared… yes, I deleted them. All of them. I hated them.
They felt way too formal and stuffy, and they didn’t really sound like me. They sounded like I was trying to be a “Proper Author With A Blog” (whatever that means), and that’s just not the vibe I want here anymore. Honestly, I’m not sure it was ever the vibe I wanted here, but I was doing that thing where I thought I had to sound more polished and professional instead of just sounding like myself.
So, moving forward, these blog posts are probably going to sound a lot more like behind-the-scenes author status updates that should maybe have gone on Facebook, but here we are.
Sometimes they’ll be long and rambling. Sometimes they’ll be short and sweet. Sometimes they’ll be about books, characters, writing, publishing, chronic illness, creativity, rebranding, or whatever else is currently taking up too much space in my brain.
We have a lot to talk about in the coming days regarding the past, present, and future of Chelsea Moye Romance. The books, the pen names, the stories I’m coming back to, the stories I’m still figuring out, the rebrand, and the general “what the hell am I doing?” of it all.
I can’t wait for you to get to know me and my books better, and I hope this space feels a lot more like me from now on.
Also, please excuse the mess while I’m rebuilding the website and rebranding so things are more authentically me. Some things may change. Some links may move. Some pages may look a little unfinished for a while.
We’re renovating the haunted house while living in it, okay?
