This was my pen name for cowboy romantic suspense, and it started with an actual trip. A few years back, my family went out West to Yellowstone National Park, and I’ve never forgotten it, the sweeping landscapes, the towering mountains, the quiet power of the land. It was the kind of place that gets you thinking about legacies, and the stories carried in the ground itself. Twisted Creek Ranch was born from that trip.

Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone struck the same chord in me, that blend of high-stakes drama, family loyalty, and a fierce love of the land, and I found myself wanting to explore those same themes: love, loyalty, family, and how far you’d go to protect who and what you love most. If you’ve ever gotten swept up in the world of the Duttons, Zoe and Roman’s story, set in Blackwell, Montana, will feel like familiar ground.
