B. J. Stone (Retired)

This was my former age-gap professor/student action and adventure dark romance pen name, and the story behind it has had a genuinely wild ride.

I posted the original Robbed cover from GetCovers on my B. J. Stone Facebook page all the way back on December 28, 2020, back when I was originally thinking of calling it Fortune, instead. (Yes, this idea has been through many, many iterations.) Check it out HERE. That’s the very first spark of this book existing anywhere outside my head.

In October 2022, it got plotted out in real time on TikTok as a NaNoWriMo example, and yes, those videos still exist if you want to go down that rabbit hole, I’ll happily link them at the bottom of this page.

From February through October or November of 2023, it ran as a serial on Kindle Vella, and somewhere in that stretch, Robbed became First Secret, Silver Grove Darling #1.

By May of 2023, it had become First Secret – Silver Grove Darling #1, as seen in this blog post on the Rapacious Press website.

Here’s where First Secret is headed next: this book, and the series planned to follow it, is eventually being re-released and continued under my real name, Chelsea Moye.

If you happen to come across another author whose pen name sounds a little like B. J. Stone, don’t be confused. That’s not me, never has been, and never will be.

I’d rather you know exactly who’s actually behind these twists, these characters, and everything still coming in this series. No soundalikes, no confusion… just me and my kickass characters and ideas for Silver Grove.

When I finally bring this one home, I want there to be zero doubt that Chelsea Moye is the real, unhinged dark romance girlie who wrote it.
