Pen Names

Hi, I’m Chelsea, and depending on where you found me, you might know me by a completely different name. I write across a lot of genres and spice levels, so I split my work across a few different pen names to keep things clear for readers, rather than making everyone dig through one page to figure out what kind of book they’re actually picking up. Here’s what’s currently active. Looking for something older or reworked? Check out my Retired Pen Names page.

I’ll have more information for you about the “why” behind these decisions on the blog in the coming weeks. ❤️

Chelsea Moye

This is home base, my real name, and where my dark romance lives, alongside an upcoming cowboy romantic suspense re-release under my real name that was formerly under the name Lauren Wheeler, a standalone romantic suspense project currently out on submission, and a rom-com in the works. If you want obsessed neighbors, masked men, Southern gothic small towns, and heroes who don’t do anything halfway, you’re in the right place.

This name is also the name that I published my first YA fantasy novel with a romantic subplot under. Frost was most recently published by Zimbell House Publishing, but I am seeking to recover my rights on it and re-publish it myself again in the future.

C. J. Beaumont

Chelsea’s USA Today bestselling pen name for paranormal romance and paranormal romantic suspense. The Bayshore Witch Legacy series lives here, and I’m actively working on reviving and continuing it in the coming year.

I will also be overhauling and re-releasing shifter romances that were formerly released both as C. J. Beaumont and as Luna Beaumont under the C. J. Beaumont name again in the future, as well as migrating some released and planned paranormal academy romances with vampires, shifters, and more from my former Caroline Carlisle pen name to the C. J. Beaumont pen name in the future.

You can learn more about my decision to retire both Luna Beaumont and Caroline Carlisle on my Retired Pen Names page.

Olivia Marwood

Chelsea’s sweet, no spice Regency family saga pen name. The Duke’s Heritage series currently has 8 of 12 planned books released, with book 9 expected to release late in 2026. If you want inheritance schemes, forced engagements, meddling relatives, and war trauma, but no spice, this is the pen name to follow.

Scarlett Hastings (Future Plans)

A future pen name reserved for dark, scandalous Regency romance, separate from everything else on this page. Nothing is released yet, but the name is claimed and the plans for a future trilogy under this name are already in my future WIP notes.
